How do I get started with FetchMyRx?
You can enroll via the normal ‘Get Started’ page at FetchMyRx.com/get-started or by calling Door To Door Pharmacy at 1-844-FETCHMYRX(844-338-2469)
Is FetchMyRx available in my area?
FetchMyRx is currently available anywhere in Brooklyn. The program is also available in select zip codes in Manhattan and Queens. Availability for the rest of New York City is coming soon.
What will my prescription cost thru the FetchMyRx program?
There is no extra charge for using FetchMyRx beyond your standard 30-day co-pays. Insurance co-payments and/or deductibles are determined by your insurance company and prescription coverage. There are no delivery or handling fees associated with enjoying free same day delivery of your prescriptions thru FetchMyRx.
I have a ninety-day prescription plan. Can I still use FetchMyRx?
Generally you can. Also, because we dispense a 30-day supply of medication, we can assist you in obtaining a “summer/vacation” override from your insurance company.
Do I need to get new prescriptions?
No. During enrollment, your patient care coordinator will ask for some identifying information and the location of your current pharmacy. Once you confirm that you’d like to transfer your prescriptions, we will handle the rest. If any of your prescriptions have no refills remaining, we will contact your prescriber(s) for a new prescription.
Can my doctor send prescriptions directly to FetchMyRx?
FetchMyRx is powered by Door To Door Pharmacy, a full-service retail pharmacy; so your doctor can send prescriptions to us at any time. Have your doctor send your prescription thru fax: 1-718-484-7440, phone: 1-718-484-7400, or e-scribe to Door To Door Pharmacy (NPI#: 5811597).
What do I have to do to make sure my refills are always ready on-time for delivery?
Usually nothing. We contact your prescriber four to eight weeks before your last refill and take any necessary steps to get your new prescriptions in place. If a prescription needs a prior authorization, we work with your doctor and insurance company to make sure it goes through. In the event that your prescriber requires additional action on your behalf (such as an office visit or consultation) we will make that step as easy as possible by communicating clear and consistently with you. We will never put the work of chasing refills on you - that is our responsibility as your pharmacy.
Can I enroll someone else?
You can enroll the person you’re caring for via the normal ‘Get Started’ page at FetchMyRx.com/get-started or by calling our pharmacy at 1-844-338-2469. We know you’d rather spend your time caring for a loved one than waiting in line at the drug store.
How do I speak to the pharmacist?
Our pharmacists are standing by during our normal business hours, ready to answer any questions you may have. Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday 10am - 6pm Eastern Standard Time. Are you able to deliver vitamins and OTC’s along with my prescriptions?
Yes. FetchMyRx is powered by a full service pharmacy that source over-the-counter meds, vitamins, and supplements from similar suppliers as any other retail pharmacy. We follow these suppliers suggested retail pricing, which is usually very similar to the prices you would find at other drugstores.
